This project involved working on a restricted layout and converting it into an open airy and welcoming space. The walls were repositioned to allow easier movement and better use of space. Sliding folding doors were used to join smaller private spaces into one large space and vice versa as per the needs of the family. Maximizing light and ventilation and ensuring its reach in every corner of the house was one of the most important guidelines that guided the design. My main involvement in this project was in designing the furniture. The family had very particular likes and requirements and every piece of furniture was designed to fulfill a specific need.
